Your dog’s coat shows how healthy he is on the inside. Grooming is an activity that is natural for your dog and, with your help, can keep your dog happier, healthier, and more beautiful. Here are a few tips: keep up on regular check-ups to keep internal parasites such as worms and external parasites such as fleas and ticks from sapping energy from your dog, and luster from his coat. Choose a shampoo and conditioner for your dog that is suitable to his coat type (there are many to choose from). Brush and comb regularly to get rid of tangles and dead skin cells. Check with your vet then choose a dog food that contains the proper balance of nutrients for your dog. Your dog’s vigor and health will be reflected in his coat!
