If you are looking for one more way to keep your relationship with your pet dog fun and exciting, a dog show may be just the right past-time for the two of you. The dog shows are fun and competitive, and a great way to bond with your dog.
To participate in an AKC (American Kennenl Club) Dog Show, your dog must be AKC registered, at least six months old, never been spayed or neutered, and meet the individual breed requirements. For additional requirements you may want to visit their website at http://www.akc.org/
If your dog does not meet the AKC requirements, there may be local dog shows you can enter.
