To avoid dental nightmares with your pet, make sure you are playing with a toy that is safe enough for rough or high intensity play. I shiver to think of what would happen to my Doberman’s teeth if she jumped to catch a stick, bone, or hard plastic toy. Several toys now are dental friendly for dogs. Consider soft rubber frisbees, rope toys, or canvas toys. Good luck, have fum, and be safe!
