Pink KittyBelieve it or not, cats are actually very social animals — at least with their favorite person. The more attention you give to your cat, the more attention your cat will give back to you. When you talk to your cat regularly, he learns to understand your vocabulary and key words that you repetitively use. When speaking to your pet cat, be sure to use a higher soft pitched voice so that the tone and pitch are not threatening. Animals tend to feel threatened naturally by low, deep vocalizations. A kind and gentle voice is sure to get your cat purring!
