Toys help fight boredom and loneliness in dogs left alone, and toys can even help prevent some problem behaviors from developing by distracting your dog or keeping him busy when you are not around. Just be sure to get toys that are safe and sturdy if your dog will be playing with them when you are out. A dog’s toy should fit your dog, meaning that the size of the toy, durability, and style of toy should be considered when you shop for your dog’s toy.
