This gorgeous birdbath has a built in thermostat to keep the birdbath ice-free. The fiberglass-reinforced polyester resin basin with the pedestal is resistant to fading from the Sun’s UV rays, and will not crack even when exposed to repeated freezing and thawing. The thermostat automatically cycles on and off when necessary as the temperature dips below freezing. The basin has a mini 5†raised center island to accommodate even the tiniest birds with a natural, shallow puddle. This birdbath features a “Twist and Tip†cleaning system allowing the basin to separate from the pedestal with a ¼ turn for easy cleaning. This birdbath holds approximately 4 quarts of water and the basin measures 17 ½†diameter by 1 ½†deep with a 23†high pedestal base.
