Did you know that scented cat litter actually repels cats? You should never use anything scented, like scented cat litter, perfumed cleaner, or chemicals with any scent to clean your cat’s litter box. Your cat will reject it altogether and not use the cat litter box. Simply use a mild detergent, such as Dawn which is animal friendly, and nice hot water to cleanse your cat’s litter box. Your cat will not sense that anything is different, and you will get rid of any unwanted cat odor.
